Google was always about simplicity and efficiency and the new open source web browser they’ve just lunched is no exception.

The name of this browser is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or “chrome”, of web browsers. Chromium is name of open source project after Google Chrome, released in the BSD certificate.
But why name it Chrome? Just because its interface is so simple and user friendly. In Google Chrome any user would be astounded of all the space and order they face. This browser is clean, fast and it really takes you where you want to go. So Google decided to name their internet browser Chrome because of the revolutionary interface they are proposing to internet users worldwide.
